Housing and Residence Life provides a home for students in the heart of the Gator Nation.
Our award-winning facilities and programs supports student development and builds community to enhance the university's academic mission. We provide a full-service living experience for our 7,900+ residence hall students and 600+ Graduate and Family Housing village residents. This includes in-house maintenance and custodial services to provide the highest quality support for students.

History
The University of Florida has a rich history of excellent student-focused services. Our cornerstone has always been the active involvement of student leaders, student volunteers, and graduate assistants working closely together with faculty and staff in the planning, funding, and decision-making of a great university.
