The Department of Housing and Residence Education's mission is to provide well-maintained, community-oriented facilities where residents and staff are empowered to learn, innovate, and succeed. Our graduate staff plays an essential role in the accomplishment of this mission! We maintain a philosophy of student development and involvement including the development and nurturing of graduate staff. CompensationAppointment is based on 9.5 months, 20 hours per week, from approximately August 1 to May 1. Salary is $3,942 or $438.00 bi-weekly and $300 in Flexbucks on meal card per semester (fall & spring); $50 conference scholarship for a housing-related conference; on-campus, furnished apartment with all utilities, phone, ethernet port and cable TV provided; reserved parking spot (not including cost of decal). Remuneration does not include tuition, however, as funds become available out-of-state tuition waivers may be granted. Summer employment may be available.
