In partnership with Gator Wash Campus Laundry Program (ASI Campus Laundry Solutions), the Department of Housing maintains 25 laundry rooms with coin operated or coin operated/Gator 1 card swipe washers and dryers. The machines are energy efficient, front load models that support UF's sustainability goals. Standard washing machines hold up to 12 lbs. of laundry and use 30 gallons of water; machines in UF residence facilities hold up to 20 lbs. of laundry and use only 15 gallons of water. These front load washers also require less detergent.

Do your laundry on campus and save 5 million gallons of water per fiscal year or more and ASI will donate scholarship money to UF.
(The amount "resets" each fiscal year, so we are starting over again towards our goal!!)
