Maguire Village is dedicated to the memory of Raymer Francis Maguire (1890 - 1960), President of the Student Body (1914 - 1915), First Honor Graduate Law School Class (1915), recipient of the President's medal for service to the University (1935), and 1953 outstanding alumnus.
Raymer Francis Maguire Memorial Village opened in 1972. The construction of Maguire Village was subsidized with Housing and Urban Development (HUD).

The Department of Housing and Urban Development (HUD) establishes maximum income limits for residents of HUD financed multi-family projects. In Village Housing, these restrictions only apply to Maguire Village.
To live in Maguire Village, a student and a spouse (if any) must have a combined gross annual income (including grants-in-aid, scholarships, grants and VA benefits) which does not exceed the income limitations outlined below.
