Lakeside Residential Complex is part of the Lakeside Area
Lakeside Residential Complex consists of two, four-story brick buildings, three, three-story brick buildings, staff apartments, and a commons and is designed for students who prefer more personal privacy as well as the opportunity to share common social and recreational space with other students. Each apartment features four bedrooms, two-bathrooms, a living room and a kitchen. In addition, there are shared floor lounges that are common areas.
Lakeside is near Lake Alice, the "Bat-House" observatory, and the Southwest Recreation Center.
Lakeside is a Faculty-in-Residence Community. In an effort to bring faculty and students together beyond the classroom, the Faculty-in-Residence Program promotes interaction between students and an on-site faculty member. The faculty-in-residence lives in an apartment in Lakeside and shares the residence hall experience with students. The faculty-in-residence provides academic advising and helps plan and implement special programs.
