Acceptance Meeting
After you receive an offer, you will have to attend an acceptance meeting. You will receive an e-mail with the meeting date. The student that applied for and has been offered the apartment will attend the meeting and should bring a photo ID and the names of anyone that will be living in the apartment. The meeting should last around 30 minutes.
No payments are required at this time. Note your first rent payment is due on the day you move in (when you sign your contract).
The primary purpose of this meeting is to sign the Official Acceptance Letter, explain the process for moving in, provide requirements needed prior to checking in and if the offer is accepted, it holds applicants to a fiscal responsibility of up to 30 days rent.
In addition to the Official Acceptance Letter, you will receive a read-only copy of the contract that will be signed on move in day in addition to other important information about Graduate and Family Housing. There may be other types of paperwork to sign as well.
This is also your time to ask any questions you might still have about GFH!
