Graduate Staff Positions in Housing
The University of Florida’s Department of Housing & Residence Education is seeking dynamic individuals for graduate employment (some summer positions may also be available for early arrival). We offer a variety of positions including 30 Graduate Hall Directors, 2 Staff Resource Assistants (working with training, advising IRHA, multicultural programs, programming and publications) and 1 Judicial Graduate Assistant. While preference will be given to candidates pursuing Student Personnel & Higher Education, the department welcomes all areas of graduate study.

We have two types of triple rooms, permanent and temporary, where three students of the same gender live together in the same residence hall room.

The residence hall contract is legally binding — take a lead. Only under very limited and specific circumstances can a resident petition to be released from this contract.
Resident TV (The Residence Information Channel)
Resident TV is a resident/student media outlet which transmits on a closed cable channel to UF's residence halls. A monthly schedule of recent-release movies plays with a computer-generated slideshow looping continuously between movie showings. Current movie schedules are posted at the start of each month.
NOTE: Check out the Housing Cable TV Channel Line-up— it differs from what the local cable company provides to off-campus facilities.
CATV Service
CATV service is included in student rent from local provider COX Cable.
