Links to the 24 residence halls organized by campus area: East Campus/Murphree and West Campus. Single-student housing indicates housing for students who aren't married. Room types include singles, doubles, triples, suites, and apartments.
The Department of Housing & Residence Education offers 5 different "Village Communities" for married couples, with or without children, single parent families and single graduate students. Accommodations range from one-bedroom apartments to efficiencies and townhouses. Check eligibility info for Graduate & Family Housing. Check rental rates.

This office responsible for the development, oversight, and assessment of Residential Learning Communities and Academic Enhancements in residence halls.
DHNet — the Dept. of Housing Ethernet fiber optic computer network — allows access to the University’s campus-wide network and the Internet with some restrictions.

When all residence spaces are assigned or committed, students returning housing applications can be put on a waiting list and directed to off-campus housing information.
Only under very limited and specific circumstances can a person petition to be released from a Residence Hall Contract.

Room Furnishings
Single-student residence hall rooms are furnished with beds, mattresses, dressers, study desks, desk chairs, a wastebasket, and window coverings. Staff can not remove assigned furniture from student rooms to storage. In the Springs Residential Complex, 80" long x 39" wide x 7" thick mattresses are provided. In all other halls, mattresses are 80" long x 36" wide x 7" thick.
Full-sized refrigerators are provided in the Beaty Towers, Keys Residential Complex, and Lakeside Residential Complex facilities. Residents in all other halls may rent or purchase a refrigerator no larger than 12 cubic feet and 3.5 amps that meet all fire and safety requirements.
The Inter-Residence Hall Association (IRHA) has compiled a list of items that have proven practical for new residents to have while living in the residence halls. These items are just suggestions and are not required.
We have two types of triple rooms, permanent and temporary, where three students of the same gender live together in the same residence hall room.
The University Police Department and Housing Security provide security for the residence halls and graduate/ family village communities through regular car and foot patrols.
