Living Learning Communities
*Incoming students will be able to express interest in Living and Learning Communities when they provide their residence hall preferences after they complete their housing contract.*
Why should you consider a Living Learning Community (LLC)?
By living in one of our focused residential communities, students will have access to programs, speakers, and activities that are designed to support the interests and needs of students in the LLC focus area. Residents experience on-campus life with fellow students who share their academic and personal interests, which supports many diverse positive outcomes for the students.
LLCs at UF include communities that focus on a particular field or major (Engineering, ROTC, Pre-Health, Innovation Academy, Honors, Entrepreneurial), communities that focus on interests both in and outside of your academic program (Global Living, International House, Leader-Scholar Program, Returning Gators Program, and Fine Arts), and communities that promote healthy lifestyles (GatorWell Health and Wellness centers). These communities are run with special input from student leaders, include targeted classes, resources, and other exclusive opportunities, and have dedicated staff members committed to their success.
