Happy Summer!

It is amazing how quickly July has come! Here we are in the second half of the summer with all of our operations running at full speed. We have a very large Summer B student enrollment; we have several large projects that continue to make wonderful progress and turn heads; we are removing old and installing new furniture in several residence halls; we have an incredibly busy camps and conferences season; our graduate and family housing operation is close to 100% occupied; and we have employed numerous summer OPS workers that assist during these summer months.

I want to thank you for your tremendous work ethic, dedication to getting the job done, and your attention to detail. We have the campus and many parents commenting about the great work going on in campus housing.

I hope that you will take some time for yourself and your family this summer.

Thank you!

Health Insurance – Legislative update

With the close of the 2011 legislative session, health insurance programs avoided many major changes originally proposed. Health plan options and employee premiums for the next plan year will remain unchanged. Employee premiums for the spouse program will also stay the same; however, employer premiums will reduce slightly. Questions? Please contact University Benefits at (352) 392-2HRS or benefits@ufl.edu.
