Sponsored by the Department of Housing and Residence Education, the College of Arts, and Performing Arts at UF, this unique community creates an environment where any student interested in the arts can live together and learn together with other students who share similar interests. The staff in Reid plan and implement programs specifically geared toward Art and Performance majors – both academic and social. The Reid Hall Arts LLC is also a strong fit for students in the Architecture, Graphic Design, and Interior Design programs. Once the student has applied, signed their contract, and paid associated fees, they will be assigned to the AIM-assigned Residence Halls for that term. Once they have received their room placement, forthcoming will be move-in information via Gatorlink email and the Housing Website.
How to Join:
Shortly after the official notification is sent to students admitted to the University of Florida, the Housing Assignments Office will send Housing contracts to students that have an active Housing application on file. Students who complete the Housing contract process (sign the contract and pay the prepayment) will be able to indicate hall/room preferences. During that time you will be asked if you are interested in living in an LLC and if so, which one. Simply indicate Arts LLC at Reid Hall as your choice. Students will be able to select a room during the self-assignment process simply need to select Reid Hall to be a member of the LLC.
