Live, Learn, Lead with a Global and Sustainability Focus

Location: Yulee Hall

The Global and Social Justice Living Learning Community empowers residents to make their campus, community, and world more inclusive and just. Students in this LLC become citizens of the world through dialogue, civic engagement, music, art, language, faculty-led discussions, and an introduction to a variety of campus and community social justice resources and opportunities. Residents have numerous opportunities to explore current events from local, regional, national, and international perspectives as they become a part of and make their mark on the greater Gator Nation.

How to Join:

Shortly after the official notification is sent to students admitted to the University of Florida, the Housing Assignments Office will send Housing contracts to students that have an active Housing application on file. Students who complete the Housing contract process (sign the contract and pay the prepayment) will be able to indicate hall/room preferences. During that time you will be asked if you are interested in living in an LLC and if so, which one. Simply indicate Global and Social Justice LLC at Yulee Hall as your choice. Students will be able to select a room during the self-assignment process and simply need to select Yulee Hall to be a member.
